Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the web application Google Calendar Analyzer (the “Service”) handles information when you use it. The Service lets you sign in with Google, read calendar data you choose, display events in your browser, and download results as a CSV file.
Who provides the Service
The Service may be run by different people or organizations on their own servers (“Operator”). The Operator who runs the instance you use is responsible for how that deployment is operated. If you need to contact someone about a specific deployment, use the contact information shown in the Google OAuth consent screen for that app, or the site or documentation where you obtained access.
Information we access via Google
When you choose to sign in with Google, the Service requests permission to:
- View your email address and basic profile (
userinfo.email,userinfo.profile) so we can identify your session and display your account in the app. - See and download your calendar events you select (
calendar.readonly) so we can list your calendars, query events in a date range you specify, show them in the interface, and produce a CSV export. We do not use this permission to create, change, or delete events.
Data from Google is retrieved over HTTPS using Google’s APIs. We use it only to provide the features you request in the Service (display and export). We do not sell your personal information.
How we store and process data
- Session cookie. After you sign in, the Service stores a signed and encrypted session in an HTTP-only cookie in your browser. That session includes your Google user identifier, email address, and a short-lived OAuth access token so we can call Google Calendar on your behalf until the token expires. Refresh tokens are not stored by this application.
- No application database. This application does not persist your calendar events or queries in a database as part of its design; event data is processed to respond to your current request (for example, to render the page or the CSV download).
- Server logs. The Operator’s web server or hosting environment may create standard access or error logs (for example, IP address, timestamps, URLs). That practice depends on the Operator’s configuration and is outside this application’s source code.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for sign-in and security: a session cookie for your logged-in state and a short-lived cookie used during the OAuth redirect flow. You can remove cookies through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or require you to sign in again.
Your choices
- You can sign out of the Service using the sign-out control; that clears the session cookie from your browser for this app.
- You can revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account security settings under “Third-party apps with account access.”
Third-party services
The Service relies on Google’s OAuth and Google Calendar APIs. Google’s use of information received from the Service is described in the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We also encourage you to review Google’s privacy policy applicable to your Google Account.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). Do not use the Service if you are not old enough to consent to processing of your data where you live.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Contact
For questions about privacy as they relate to a particular deployment, contact the Operator using the details from that deployment’s OAuth consent screen or hosting documentation.
